My inlaws always ask for things, money for example, but never approach me, they always contact my husband directly! He can't say no to them, and they know it! It's driving me crazy, how do I make them stop?

Its not how do you make them stop it is how do you make your husband realize you are a team and you have a say in this too. He is putting them before you. Thats the main problem, not the in laws.

Go to them yourself and say "Look, I know there are times you need some help and I would like it if you would ask me before asking ( your husbands name) " then tell them," that you both also have a life together and that you can not be giving out all the time" then say "From now on, there has got to be some kind of agreement in writing" and that IF they pay you back once for a loan then you will be more than happy to allow others see if that works

You can't make them do anything. You can however communicate your feelings with your husband and the two of you can come up with a plan together.
He may feel like he needs to help them and if you can afford it, it's a nice thing to do. Compromising with him may mean offering less help than he wants and more than you do but at least that would be a step in the right direction.
Of course if your family can't afford the help you two need to find a way to say no together.

Talk to your husband regarding your feelings and he must find ways to stop it. That is if he really loves you. It should work out fine the next time.
