Since you like her as a friend and not a girlfriend you need to try not to lead her on as though she has a chance. What you want to do is be friendly but don't flirt!! You could stop hanging out with her so much but don't ignore her just don't give her the impression that your interested or you'll break her heart. You might want to subtley show that you like the other girl to indirectly send her the message. But she may not get it so you may have to confront her directly. If you do have to do that don't say that you like someone else first you have to let her know that you like her as a friend and you want to keep hanging out (if you do) then at the end you can say that you like someone else. But whatever you choose to do be nice to her about it and let her down easily.

omg! this is happening to me right now too. wow! exactly what you said is happening to me...omg...this guy that I just see him as like a friend no more then that...he try to impress me and he act very nice to me...the thing is that I don't have any feeling for him. I have my mind on someone else but he doesn't know that. sometime I gave him strange moment...so he can get the message...I'm stuck too. I guess somehow we have to be straight forward and tell that person so they won't be wasting their times or getting them all confuse and stuff...the worse part is telling them...

Please don't be mean to her to let her know. Tell her outright but think about her feelings. Think clearly about what you say before you say it so you won't hurt her feelings, well as much. Don't lie to her just tell her that you feel that you and her should just be friends because from what you have gotten to know about her that you feel only friendship is there. Let her know that you still want her to be in your life but not date. That you want to date other people. Say it in a way that she won't be as hurt. Be kind, loving, caring, thougthful and sensitive about the words that come out and your actions. After you talk to her I'm sure she'll be understanding with what you have said.

you should tell the girl that likes you, how you really feel and how you have feelings for someone else and hope that she takes it well. As for the girl that you like, just flirt with her, compliment her and get her to like you even more then, dont talk to her very much so she comes to you.

Just be honest with her...sooner or later she has to know the truth, firstly, try to establish a conversation about it without hurting it.

Tell her you like another and don't see her in a sexual way. Do her a favor and be honest. Men should be more honest and stop playing all these games.

When she asks to make out with you, tell her you wouldn't make out with your sister, and that's what she is to you. That should either work or make her feel real uncomfortable or both.

just tell her the truth. everything you just said, either way she will end up hurt, but it would be nice to tell her the truth and that you just want to be friends.

Be blunt and just say "Hey, I don't want a romantic relationship." and quit being such a wussy.
