I did the Belief-O-Matic a few years ago, and the top result was Secular Humanist. After reading the description I agreed they align well with my beliefs and feelings.
Coincidentally, Theravada Buddhism wasn't far down on my own list -- maybe about sixth. And I had to chuckle to see that the religion I was raised in -- Roman Catholic -- was at the very bottom.
I referred others to this link, myself, when someone asked what religion they should follow (or something to that effect). It's an interesting quiz, isn't it?

you're an Universalist. The Bible disagrees including your view, enable me coach you in basic terms some places the place. Forgiveness of sin is barely available to those that have faith in Jesus and you may no longer earn it, that's a unfastened present to all who have faith: "For with the help of grace you have been saved via faith. And it extremely isn't your very own doing; that's the present of God, no longer a effect of works, so as that no person might boast." Ephesians 2:8-9 (ESV) word in John 3:sixteen in basic terms speaks of "whoever believes in him:" "For God so enjoyed the international, that he gave his in basic terms Son, that whoever believes in him shouldn't perish yet have eternal life." (ESV) no one gets to heaven different than via Jesus: "Jesus stated to him, 'i'm the way, and the actual fact, and the life. no person involves the daddy different than via me.' " John 14:6 (ESV) you have created your very own version of 'jesus.' it extremely is named idol worship and violates the 1st commandment. the genuine Jesus is defined interior the Bible. Having faith in a 'jesus' that throughout basic terms has the attributes which you like isn't comparable to believing in Jesus and you at the instant are not lined interior the "whoever believes in Him" of john 3:sixteen. the coolest information is that the wrath owed to those that have faith in Jesus grew to become into given to Jesus on the go of their place. Jesus died for the sins of the believers and rose back on the 0.33 day. in case you repent and positioned your faith interior the Jesus of the Bible to save you from sin, he will and you have got eternal life.
