I think it is more like having a relationship with god . If you have searched through out your life and found disappointment. And dispair and pain that never stops coming. If you found a way to find comfort during those times and the strenght to face tomorrow wouldnt you want that? Heaven wouldnt be heaven without the prize The Lord. Without him what is there left? God bless you Jesus Loves you more then you will ever know

Yes it does. I cannot imagine living a few yrs on earth without knowing that when I die, I'll be in Heaven with My Lord forever! And be united with loved ones again forever. I do not understand how unbelievers handle death of loved ones or even their own last few months or so as they are dying. How scary the unknown is and meaningless this life would be.

The knowledge that Jesus Christ has overcome death is the thing that encourages me most in the face of death. I know that he has been given the power to resurrect back to life those who have died. I do not wish to go to heaven as I can not picture myself as a ruler or priest. I hope that God will see fit to let me live on earth. As for hell as a place of burning torment, I have been reading the Bible carefully most of my life and I know that that teaching is contrary to what the Bible says. The Bible says God puts life and death before us and we must choose life in order to keep living. It says that the wages of sin is death (not torture). It also says that people are conscious of nothing after they die until the resurrection. I know God would never torture his children.

yes if you believe your going to heaven, dieing would be pretty scary if you though you where going to hell. life is a long sometimes hard road it make me feel good to know that the grave is not the end. i hope and pray I'm good enough to get heaven, but i can't get to heaven on my own i is by grace of Jesus i can make it.

Reality should make us accept it more. The death rate is 100%. We all die, that's why it is important to know where YOU will spend eternity.

Yes, it does for me. I listen to Audios from Religious Islamic Sheikhs Speaking on the issue, and it gets to me everytime.
I just wish when I'm out on the real world I can remember this and not forget, and also die with these beliefs.

Actually when I was a brainwashed child, it scared me more. I no longer fear death because I no longer believe in heaven or hell. I know I will be reincarnated and that is what comforts me.
