Sort of. Part of what you are seeing is that you are talking to the whole world in here and people are more willing to talk about what's on their hearts.
Logically speaking there are more atheists and Christians in the world because the worlds population grows every day. Christianity is still the worlds largest religion. Islam is the fastest GROWING religion.
I believe that there is a great harvest about to be reaped of those who never knew Jesus but are searching for something.

there are many people deny God but that is their choice.
Why? Because they feel like Christians live a boring life. We don't have a boring life, our lives are full and we have fun, it is not the same as non Christians though... We are in the world but do not participate in worldly activities...
Gosh, my Christian life is so full of blessings I would not have enough room to list them here...

No it's the impact of education and knowledge over superstition and ignorance . Or as Freud once was quoted :
"The more the fruits of knowledge become accessible to men, the more widespread is the decline of religious belief."

I don't think there are necessarily MORE atheists than ever before... I think they are no longer staying silent about their beliefs. They have been silent and are now experiencing more and more discrimination and abuse because of it.
We finally had enough and had to speak up. What you're hearing is the voice of a group of non-verbal people. Why talk about what you DON'T believe in? We have nothing to preach about, so we just didn't talk about it.
Now... we are.
