I workout 4-5 days a week with 3-4 miles per day plus lifting. I am curious to hear people's thoughts on eating Chipotle 2 times a week. I know it is very high in calories and sodium. I usually get a chicken burrito bowl (no gauc or sour cream). I have heard they are much better for you than the burritos themselves.

My thoughts are that while they are not perfect, they are better than a large pasta meal (with meatballs, cheese, etc), fast food and many other things out there. Please let me know what you all think about eating these for meals 2 times per week.

I know calorie intake is very important, but isn't it better to be eating chicken, cheese and "fresh" salsa better than a whopper even if calorie intake is the same??

to the best of my knowledge Chipotle is all natural, no additives or preservatives that's exactly what you want. if that is the worst thing that you eat over the course of a week your diet is much better than average. track your calories and you should see good results from your training

It's calories, just like any other meal. Eat too many calories and you gain fat. Eat few calories than you need and you lose fat. Doesn't matter much if it's Chipotle or a Whopper, so long as you're eating the right total amount of food.

I don't think their food is too bad...a lot more healthier compared to other Mexican restaurants.
