This whole 2012 armageddon thing--if they don't believe anything else Mayan, why are they stealing that date for their next End-of-the-world party? Will they ever stop ripping crap off from pagan religions? How can they say they don't edit or add to God's holey word, when they just added this right in front of us while we were all watching?

That is a most excellent question and I hope you get a real answer...although you pretty much answered it yourself. Christianity has since day one taken everything from other religions with not one bit of "new" info or mythology that can't be found elsewhere (at an earlier date).

I hadn't heard they'd stolen the Mayan date. That's pretty sad.
