Will calluses go away?

I am a gymnast and after too many years of blisters my hands are finally starting to callus. This is a big leap forward but I was wondering if when I stope gymnastics (hopefully not soon) if they would go away. If so how long will they stay with me.

well i had quit 4 3 months and my hands got smooth so it will take like 3 months
