Many times ... a baby's birth, a spider's web, a child's laugh, a broken limb restored stronger than before the break, my eyeglasses, advances in medicine and technology ... and more!

Miracles are around us every day! If only we have eyes to see them. ;-)

Most human beings tend to restrict their minds to think as to what good can possibly happen to them. And when something good really happens they call it a miracle.
If humans always believe that good will always come after the bad, sunshine after the rain, or plain sailing after a sea storm, the so-called miracle is actually the result of actions they took during those worrisome or bad times of their lives.
Personally I don't believe in miracles. Incredibly good outcomes are always the result of hard work, determination, diligence and steadfast belief in oneself. Whatever that has happened to me were always the result of my own doing.
But I believe in luck. Being lucky to be at the right place at the right time, doing the right things, knowing the right people and keeping focused on the right issues bring about very favourable outcomes, which many may consider it a miracle.
I have never witnessed any miracle, by what I believe in.
I hope that's good food for for your thoughts in my case.

Yes, I have and if I live to be a 100 years old I will never forget it. My 7 year old little niece had Cystic Fibrosis's.
The majority of her entire life were in- &- out of hospitals.
In August 1983 I received a call that she was dying. When I go there she was gasping for breath. I knew her time was very short because her eyes were already set.
Later on that night, her mother & father, myself & another sister were in the room when she gasped & I started to run for a nurse. My brother & sister-n-law said leave her alone, she has suffered enough. She died that monment
& I actually witnessed this child turn from agony on her face & no longer struggling to breath & turned to an angel of peace and traquil. She was already in the arms of Jesus. We miss her terribley but we know for sure that in Heaven she won't have a problem breathing.
Seeing her turn from agony to an angel is definetly a Miracle.

Yes I'm a nurse and have witnessed births and deaths and I do believe that both are miracles and I always feel so honored to be present and of any help in all situations. I no longer actively get to work as a floor nurse and I miss it so much.

Define miracle. It seems that most everyone else that has answered has a pretty open definition.

I would define miracle as: an event for which there is no natural explanation and appears to violate known laws of physics.

By this definition, childbirth is not a miracle (even if it is totally wondrous).

Yes! Many times, but most of the time I don't realize it until later. Most recently when my husband went to the doctor with some chest pain, the doc ran tests in his office, said didn't see any probs, but sent him to a heart specialist for verification. The specialist decided because of his family history, age, and a few other factors to do a heart cath instead of the usual "couple of weeks" tests. Did the cath the next day, 45 minutes later he they were transferring him to another hospital by ambulance for emergency surgery...installed a balloon to keep his main artery open to get him transported, which was 99.5 percent blocked...could not fly by helicopter because of the balloon...sent a doctor, two nurses in the ambulance, had a surgical team waiting on us, he had a heart attack while they were prepping him for surgery, was in surgery for almost 7 hours, had 5 bypasses....His surgeon? One of the top 5 heart surgeons in the USA AND a christian....he said the balloon they installed at the heart cath saved his life until they could get him into surgery...no major damage to his heart, he has lost 50 lbs and in the best shape of his life...CHANCE? Not on my husband's life!

Yes, when I was living in Puerto Rico, my brother began choking on a large seed. My mother didn't know what to do.
So my father tried and tried to dislodge it by turning him upside down. Nope it wasn't happening, and by now my brother was turning purple in color. So my father scream for his sister and she ran up with others toward the patio. He was limp and lifeless until the LORD came, I mean my annointed aunt. Like I said she came running with several witness. She elevated her head to the sky and those there began the cant in unison prayer. What I saw was incredible. I saw her take her finger and go down my brothers throat and pull the seed out. You could see the finger go down, amazing. And my brother is alive today because of her. I haven't seen her in many years but I believe she is in her late 80's. A servant of the lord. and for the first time I my life I make it known to others. I was only 5 but eventhough I was little, I remember looking into the clouds, too. I didn't understand what was to happen but now It gives me chills just remembering and yes that's one of the reason I believe in Jesus. By the way my brothers name is SAMUEL.

P.S. Before I lose the thought, I did see her two time when about ten and I was scare to speak to her, If you know what I mean and second time at her house. A huge BIBLE right as a center piece of her living room. I mean HUGE. I have never seen one like that in 35 years. But my point is when she look at me as if she were peeling a banana, one of those frightning stares that could set you on fire, so I look away because it overwhelm me. And her house, devoted to the lord. No TV, no phone, no lights just candles that I could remember and the whole house had discipline. This too, is a blessing.

I have indeed... I wasn't supposed to be able to have children and I have a son. When discussing the possibility of having a second, two fertility specialists couldn't figure out how we had one much less an easy way to have a second.

And no, I don't believe there is a god. Miracles have nothing to do with the devine or any other deity. They are simply unexplained phenomena.

Yes, I have been healed twice when doctors could do nothing. I have seen my husband healed. The Lord has given me peace though a dream and other circumstances surrounding my son. And many many more.
