Well that's not necessarily a bad thing. The mafia brings protection, and as long as your not in it, its hard for it to back fire. Just act like a good stand up guy. These guys tend to like or gravitate towards sociable, smart (common sense smart) and guys who take responsibility for there actions.
Besides, they know every kill brings the Fed's closer and closer to there organization. They wont have you killed because you broke up with there little girl. Still id say stick with her only if your really see potential for it lasting. An act as there family is a typical family.
Don't feel so bad, i went out with a girl who's father had 480 confirmed enemy kills in Vietnam. He was a navy seal.
