That's a tough one because its an open ended question. There are a number of things a man could do to think or know that. Since this is question is under Dating I'm thinking all of this related to another who has slipped threw your fingers.
One is loose trust. She keeps being told one thing then turns around and finds out he has been doing something different. This could be anything, time after time causes this.
Second is to cheat. That is a no brainier sometimes the excuses just are not good enough. The cheater comes up with his own reason for it when really that isn't why it happened.
Third is too realize that he may have met the best woman who walked in his life (relationship wise) and let her go because of past issues. Cant get over what others did.
Fourth is blocking a person out when you know you need to talk and the other person feels rejected because things have gone sour only because he wasn't able to say what has been going on. A lack of communication this is a another killer.
Fifth.. this is a huge one that shouldn't even be on here... abuse of any sort.. to a adult or child... Sexual, mentally, physical.
Another is rejection. This is another painful one, always being put behind others, not willing to do a bit of something extra to show how your feeling. Rejection covers alot everything from communication to sex.
Loosing your sense of humour and the ability to laugh more.

i do no longer understand if adult males "invented" feminism or no longer yet they particular have benefited from it. women human beings will provide it up with way much less attempt now than they used to. the biggest mistake for a man is to not LOVE his g friens/wife. when i say not-love covers all forms of cheatings plus all forms of ignoring her.

If he acts disrespectful, and doesn't treat his lady with respect, if he doesn't seem remorseful for what he has done, or if he calls her names, cusses her out when he's done something wrong, etc. etc... All deal breakers !!

cheating...whether it be with your girlfriend's bestfriend,sister, etc.
cheating and lying are pretty much equivalent. they've both got their different levels but they are big mistakes...unless what you're aiming to do is lose her and break her heart.
