I am going to visit Iceland and I would love to learn Icelandic. However, I am unsure how to find a tutor/teacher.

Do you know of any good online programs? (free preferably.)

If you speak Icelandic and have the time, could you spell correctly and phonetically some basic phrases?

Any help would be hugely appreciated. :)
Thank you so much!

well I would not try to learn a real lot because it is a very hard language to learn, and almost everyone there knows english. So intensively learning would be kinda a waste of resources. However, if you learn a few words or lines, it does make the locals happy that you have made an effort and you appriciate their culture.
