Yeah! But their are still some new games with a old school RPG feel to them out their like such as Dragon Quest 8 and the game Blue Dragon for the 360 looks promising.

Those aren't THAT old school.

Now, Final Fantasy on the NES, Dragon Quest I, that's old school.

Plus, all the games you mentioned can either be played on the PS2/3 (tactics, and BoF3, and CT), or the GBA (ports/updates of BoF1/2 and FF5/6), so you really can't 'miss' them.

Yeah I miss the older Final Fantasy games.

Older games used to be a lot harder to beat and they had more of a challenge to them. Now, a lot of games you can beat in a couple of hours or so.

it is via the fact RPGs are not RPGs, they're journey video games. i like the previous school ones, like Dragon Quest 8 on PS2. Blue Dragon on the 360 grew to become into finding kinda good with the help of the write up in sport Informer some months decrease back. i think of sq./Enix took very final fantasy on the journey path and saved Dragon Quest on the RPG path. you will possibly desire to attempt Dragon Quest 8, it nonetheless had the previous tale line and that to it. Espically good because of fact it grew to become into nonetheless the previous random conflict gadget. It grew to become right into a sport you place HOURS into. That grew to become into purely the tale that took a while. there grew to become right into a splash area factor of the Monster conflict area that keeps you busy in case you % to play around with as properly. Now famous guy or woman Ocean:Til the top of time, wasn't somewhat my form of sport to be straightforward. I purely did no longer get into it adequate. It wasn't a foul sport in spite of the indisputable fact that somewhat, purely regarded like the bigger concept grew to become into somewhat with regard to the area element like boost your skills to make your very own weapons and such.
