I wanted to be the next Jim Henson, had all the imagination, talent and ambition. Now my job title is "board flipper"--did anybody's dreams come true?

Similar problem to Aqua, except I can't envisage the future. I always freeze when anyone asks me where I see myself in five years, let alone five minutes. I've learned to say what people expect to hear in job interviews and stuff, but it used to really freak me out when people honestly seemed to expect an answer to what I thought was such an impossible question.
I'm guessing when I was 5 my ambition possibly stretched to being 6, but I can't be sure!

Astronaut. Didn't end up doing that, but my dreams change all the time. I got as far as inquiring about entry into the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs after graduating from a 2-year college. But I didn't go through with that and instead decided to stay on the ground. But, when I was 4, I watched the Apollo 11 moon launch and lived really close to Cape Canaveral; it seemed like the coolest thing to be!

I knew I wanted to be a mom-- and I am, three times over.
If I remember correctly, I wanted to be a teacher too-- and I am that as well in the ESL Department.
How cool that you wanted to be Jim Henson though. Don't give up on that yet!!

Well, when I was 5 - and very small - everything looked very BIG. And the biggest thing for me were trucks, those big 18-wheeler semis. So I wanted to be a truck driver. But I ended up bing a antiquarian bookseller for 36 years. Go figure!

I have always loved animals, and yes,I wanted to be a vet. Didn't happen, but I have 4 dogs,2 cats, 7 horses, 1 pony and ducks too! Funny huh?

I don't remember anything past 2 years ago. I have dissociative amnesia...thanks to my stepfather. But I still now want to become a social worker. However, I am married now and am working on getting pregnant. That is what my job is going to be.

Garbage Man. Wanted to ride on the back of the truck.
Glad I didn't pursue that, because know they have arms on the side of trucks that do the work for them and they ride mostly in the cab. That sucks! LoL

Oddly enough, at a very young age I wanted to be Lon Cheney/Lon Cheney Jr.
I used to come up with all kinds of scary costumes.
