They removed an answer I placed simply because I mentioned exodus international, an organization of ex gays. Whether you disagree with me or not, deleting the answer was censorship. Chrsitians are insulted freely on this site, but when a person speaks truth, yahoo folds to the PC crowd. Very sad, but not unexpected.

BTW, I broke no rules in my statement.

Make no mistake, I understand they own the board and have the right to censor what goes on it. that being said, it was cowardly to remove my statement, while they leave worse things up, that has been reported.

apparently Christians do not complain to Y/A or report abuse as much as gays do.

Hmmm...never heard of Exodus International, so I don't have any idea what you're on about.
I do remember the trouble Yahoo got into a couple of years back, when it was discovered that sexual predators were abusing the chat rooms. I'm guessing they don't want more of the same.
That's just an opinion, however.
I've had some of my Q's and A's deleted too...and mostly I didn't understand why, either.
BTW, I am a Christian.

It relates to the Golden Rule: "He who has the gold rules." I think it would be cool to place it before a review board of subscribers.
By the way, Christians are not the only ones insulted freely in here. As a matter of fact Christians deal out their fair share of negative opinions as well.
I do agree, it is censorship.

I am not sure but I think the deleting is done automatically possibly by number of complaints maybe even by complaints per period of time. Some deletions do not make sense. I know I have had some pulled that had no good reason I can think of. I also had a couple pulled for real reasons. Such as "Two Points" when someone asked a really non-sensical question.

Eh...it's not censorship. When you signed up, you agreed to the terms Yahoo laid out. You accepted them. You also accepted to follow those rules. It's their board, they can decide what they want up or what they don't. If you don't like that, you always have the choice to post elsewhere or start your own forum. That being said, if you included a link in your answer, someone might've reported it as spam. In reality, they don't really look at what is reported. They just receive and delete. I've been reported for less so, don't wouldn't worry about it. Worse has been and will be said before the night is through.

Oh, and be ready for someone to report this as "Not a question". lol Oh, the irony!

Though we are on different sides of the spectrum, I have had it happen to me as well. I have had questions deleted before they were even posted. According to the community guidelines, I broke no rules either.

They do it because they can. They are a private entity, and can determine what content they want posted on their site.

It's easiest just to move on. Fighting it will be a fruitless venture. I know.

In all fairness- why not post the answer/statement you left in it's entirety- I see plenty of pretty bad stuff stay up and left alone- And I have been sited for violations- so forgive me if I am more then a little skeptical that all you did was just "mention" something like you claim

They probably removed the answer because someone else was offended. That was wrong I think. I am way out of the normal belief system when it comes to christians. I don't get censored, I don't think. I never really checked my answered to see if they are still there.

They are simply telling us that when we mess with gays, we are hitting close to home. Thanks for the information about exodus international, I will be looking that up and spreading the word.

It was not Yahoo! Someone that didn't like your answer reported you. One of mine got the ax as well. It was based on adultery vs homosexuality... it didn't make it on the board five minutes.
