It has to be in the millions. You loose up to 150 hairs per day just by brushing, showering and playing with it. I asked my doctor the same thing because I was experiencing stress in my life that made my hair fall out (yes, stress is a cause of hair loss). He said no worries on becoming bold at the young age I was because I have millions of hairs and oh well if I loose 150-200 a day.
