I love my short girlfriend, but is she too little?

My girlfriend Miep is a very cool lady. We are both in our late 20's, and have been dating for 2 years. She makes me laugh, and being a native European is obviously a notch higher than most loose American women you run into in this "country".

I think sometimes about popping the big question, but I cannot get over the fact that she is only 5'1.

I mean, Jesus Christ, every time I look at her I think about Willy Wonka & The Chocolate factory.

I like her and all, but I need someone I can properly breed with.

You said you love your short gf but apperently you don't love her at all. And to be honest, you sound pretty dull to me, you're definetely not a catch. Let her go so she can be with a real man.

I am 5'1", my HUSBAND is 6'2".....we have one very healthy BEAUTIFUL 2 year old boy with the same body structure (only smaller... he is only 2) as my husband.

You can "properly breed" with anyone you wish.. but if you can be so judgemental about height(and obviously about other things)... then maybe you don't need kids...they start off short!!!
And if you are not popping the question because of her height.. than you need to really get an attitude adjustment! You have thought about it.. shouldn't your love for her be over shadowing her height? Maybe you shouldn't marry her if this is how you think of her!

I won't EVEN touch the willy wonka thing!

It wouldn't surprise me if you're 6'1". How you would be attracted to someone who's a whole foot shorter than you is beyond me. At least you're somewhat aware of the absurdity of the situation. There's so many couples like you two out there any way what's one more oddity in the world? By the way since you're not so fond of the U.S., then get out on the next flight.

omg ur such a jerk... im only 5'2 and guys still like me, she can always wear high heels. and about having short kids, well u might get lucky cuz my mom is 5'2 and im came out short but my brother is almost 6 so yeah u shouldnt look at the whole thing that way....
u should love her for who she is...

if you're considering not marrying a girl because of her height, then you obviously aren't in love with her enough to marry her. but then again, if you continue to be this shallow with every girl you meet, maybe you'll never get married. also, tell her how you feel about this or show her this question so she can realize your extreme obsession with such surface matters and dump you before this question is even resolved.

anyway...no woman is too short. besides only 1/2 of her DNA will come into the baby, so don't worry. i mean, if she makes you laugh! go for it, she sounds great.

What will Nermina say? She okay with the bigamy thing? Dont sweat the short thing. Short women tend to be more flexible, and short is a recessive gene I think, so you'd be more likely to have tall kids.

It does not sound like you have a good basis for marriage if you are letting her height be the deciding factor. I say don't marry her and break her heart.
