Muslim, Jews, and Christians are always fighting for who is right in the religon department. But when it comes down to it they all say, be a good person, accept God, and make the world a safer place. So why all the bickering?

We have all the same belief in God but some teachings varries. Anyway we do not fight each other as regards to out belief. Maybe what we are fighting for is spritual fight but not human flesh fight because it is prohibited by God.

No they do not agree with each other, There are too many differences to list here. The main differences are the way to salvation and who God is. Though all three agree that there is only one God, We do not agree on who God is, Muslims and Jews say there is only one God but don't believe in God the Father,Jesus or the Holy Spirit as being a part of what Christians call the triune God. Muslims would say they agree that good works are important, but not tell you as long as they could benefit from it, While some Jews and Christians believe that by doing good works (Keeping the Law) will earn their way to heaven. The Bible teaches that our so called good works are like filthy rags in the nares of God, but yes we should still try, because it is not that we can earn our way to heaven, but that Jesus has already paid the price that we cannot. The Bible predicted this bickering you mentioned and even says it will get worse. and still that should not mean that we shouldn't try to live in peace.

It's not all the same, but the world would be a better place if everyone actually did believe in God. I'd settle for more people following the Golden Rule at this point.

May God Bless you.

But they all hate the others because they just won't convert. Except the Jews. They don't want either of the others to bother them...they know they're chosen. the other two are always up tight because they're beginning to believe they have to be the world majority religion to be accepted by their own god.

This is simple for those who know God. The God of the Bible is not telling you to do what you are incapable of as in be a good person. There is none good but God. No man could live up to God's righteousness and all had fallen short of his glory it is the reason Jesus came to the world to pay the penalty of death for those who accept the atonement

Because Judaism is waiting for a Messiah to deliver their people, Christianity believes Jesus IS the Messiah to deliver their people, and Islam believes Mohammad delivered the message to save the people. This is the fundamental problem. Judaism believes Christianity is false because they have accepted a false Messiah, and Mohammad was not a prophet. Christianity believes Judaism did not accept their Messiah, and Islam is following a false prophet. Islam believes that Judaism won't accept their prophet, and believes that Christianity is blasphemy because Jesus is not God.

Ego. No one wants to be the fool who devoted their life to something that might be wrong. Other religions were basically created to cater to the whim of some guy who didn't want to do what religion #1 said he had to do. They're basically all the same. Some are out there but yeah, the message is supposedly the same.

I agree with all of this except the "accept God" part. Why do you need that to be a good person? Just be a good person without the promise of eternal life OR the threat of eternal damnation. Period.

for the same reason everyone else fights.
too many minds, too many ways of thinking
there are good people and bad people
it is those bad people who cause todays sorrows
unfortunately too many of them in the past and today use religion as just another blind justification for fighting

I don't know. I have often wondered about that myself. They all have the same belief system just different stories. I think they should all combine their religions to form a united one based on those beliefs. Maybe there will be less wars?
