nope
when you asked the fundies prolly had to go to bed for church this morning
okay, now i'm curious what the second question was gonna be
anyway, they're always quick to say how their god's laws trump man's laws, but they can never explain why then they still need to interfere with man's laws on their god's behalf
thankfully reptiles don't have to deal with the laws of men or gods! Allez-cuisine!

In the 1890's, the Supreme Court ruled against plural marriage, as practiced by the LDS Church (Mormons). The Court based its decision on the US being a Christian nation.
By this, the Court meant that our culture is based on Christianity (which was also true for Europe). Today, the Court has been undermining our Christian culture. Outlawing prayer in the schools, government hostility toward religion in general, and Christianity in particular has been the policy of our federal government.
In violation of the First Amendment (which guarantees free exercise of religion by the people, and prohibits the establishment of a state religion, the federal government has been promoting the official state religion of evolution -creation without a Creator.
Apparently, our politicians are offended by the idea expressed in our Declaration of Independence about being endowed by our Creator with unalienable rights. The official state religion says that we are just animals, evolved from other animals. We have no rights, save the rights that government gives us, and what government gives, government can take away.
It's either one nation under God, or one nation under man.

If we were then we would be killing all the homosexuals... since it says so in the bible. Plus, the united states wouldn't be called, "the land of the free". We would be having to believe in christianity. Oh how great the world would be if it were that way! There would be no need for any astronomy or anthropology because god made everything! ah the ignorance! The majority of the USA are christians, but there are over 33,000 different sects. Weird huh.

If you define a "Christian nation" as having a majority of people practice Christianity, then yes. Separation of church and state is often a delicate matter, such as "In God We Trust" on money. However, the nation officially does not have a state religion, something that gives the United States stability.

We claim to be a Christian nation, even though we lead the world in every sin imaginable. Murder, rape, adultery, child molestation, gluttony, wastefulness. That's why many nations hate us. They look at this country as a representation of what Christianity is.

I've been told that some eighty percent of Americans consider themelves to be Christians.
That's a giggle!
If the U.S. is a Christian nation, then I am the virgin Mary.
(hint: My name is not Mary.)

The last report I heard is that about 83% said they believed in God and about 54% said they go to Church. I guess that qualifies as a Christian nation.
