Who is it you want to hurt, your friend or the people who pick on him/her? I hope the people who pick on your friend, but don't go that far, let them know just how wonderful people with differences are. And tell them you pray that they never have to worry about their own children being picked on no matter if they are special or not. Remind them that every thing they dish out will come back in the future to haunt them.

If someone picks on an autistic person they are just bad people. If you confront them about it it may just get worse. I think the best thing to do is have your friend keep distance from the jerks. A least your buddy has a good friend to look out for him, its probably more than the bullies have. I had an autisitc friend in grade school, he was picked on alot, I tried to stand up for him as much as possible, but it really didnt seem to bother him too much. I got into fights over it and it didnt change anything. Some people are just *******, and they always will be!

I must agree with what everyone else is saying that fighting is not the best answer...However, I have a six year old son that is Autistic and if someone were to mess with him, I would start off by telling them that they need to bruise their knees everyday thanking God that they do not have to go through the pain of not hearing their child speak!

Hurting anyone isn't the answer, continue to be involved w/ your friend, maybe get some info. on this condition and see if a trusting adult could help in some way. Sometimes when people aren't educated on a subject they poke fun at it because they don't know better,,other times they 're simply rude. Autism can be difficult for some people to deal with, I applaud you for going the extra mile.

First go to a councilor at your school and spill your guts. Just don’t mention the wanting to hurt them part. Do that a couple times. Then snap and kick those kids asses. This way you covered your tracks before you made them.

basically feel sorry for them because they are the ones with the bigger handicap they cannot see beyond the physical condition of your Friend.
your Friend is physically handicapped they are morally & mentally handicapped they cannot see as you do, beyond the condition.
