OKay so my guy friend likes to ask me what I'm doing for the weekend and I say nothing much but he wants to know details and I think it's a bit intrusive.

I think this guy likes you more than just a friend. If you feel his questions are intrusive then you obviously do not feel for him as he feels for you. I trully believe that it is possible for girls to think of guys as 'friends'. But guys think of girls who are friends as just girls they haven't been with yet.

it sounds like he wants to be more thatn friends and really wants to learn more about you and what type of things you enjoy doing.
