I'm not sure what you mean by "pitch fever", because that sounds like a movie title (Fever Pitch) instead of a disease. There is, however, something called Pontiac Fever which is one of the more subtle forms of Legionnaire's Disease, characterized by fever and non-productive cough, among others.

Or perhaps you may mean "pitch" as in voice, which could represent laryngitis, of which include fever as a symptom because infections of the larynx are also known. Or perhaps, again, you mean Undulent Fever, which is an opportunistic disease caused by Brucella abortus, a bacterial organism that promotes pre-mature "abortion" in goats (if I'm not mistaken); this disease is characterized by the "sine-wave-like" fever, being that the temperature of the infected patient goes up and down, much like a sine wave.
