... Theres this one guy who i just met this year and he kinda freaks me out at times, like i can tell he likes me and im flattered and all. I dont mind meeting new people so his approaching me was a plus however, its like he tries so hard to be close to me, i guess he's coming on too strong. The other day we went to a dance and I danced with him at times, he's not that great of a dancer then a slow song came on and well lets just say I had a feeling he was going to come so I told my friends that we should go to the restroom, as soon as we got up he was there but I left him he din't say anything but I felt guilty for leaving him like that. I'm okay with us being friends and I don't want to be rude or hurt him in any way, I guess I already might have hurt him ...I just don't want to give him the wrong idea either. soooo does anyone have any suggestion on how they would handle this?

The best thing to do is be honest. Tell him that you would love to continue to be friends, however you don't feel a romantic connection.

there only one way that to be honest with him and let him know that you like him as a friend.
