with infants it can be because the formula is moving through their system too fast
it can also be because you have a blockage in the common bile duct and therefore the bile is not getting into the duodenum and emulsifying the fats for absorption. Gallstones are a common cause.
it can also be if you are a Labrador retriever who ate a Costco size container of Coffee Mate coffee whitener while her owner was out of the house ........ True Story......
