Its actually quite hard to decide in this sort of relationship, you have to decide whether you are willing to risk your friendship for the relationship. Does this guy like you or your friend? What do you like about the guy? Is he really just a crush that you can get over with or you cannot? Most people in certain cases would have many fights with there friends over a guy. But ask yourself is he worth the trouble. Flirting is just a way of getting close to the people you seem attracted to.
