What should your limit be on the number of people you invite to your wedding?

It's all up to you and how many people you want. I've seen weddings where it's been about 50 guests, and I've seen weddings where they've had 300 plus guests. It all depends on budget, and how big a wedding you want.

You need to keep it to a number that you could reasonably talk to during the reception. It's important to be able to say hello, thank them for coming, and let them express their best wishes. There's nothing worse than going to a wedding and feeling like the happy couple don't even know that you've bothered to come. If the reception's 4 hours long, that's 240 minutes. At 250 guests, you couldn't chat with each guest for even a minute. I'd keep it to the people that you know best, those that you've spoken to within the past year or two. In any case, less than 300!

Sky's the limit - totally depends on how much money you and your guy have in your budget. A nice size for a wedding, though is about 200 - any more than that and you don't really get to visit with everyone.

Depends on how much you can afford. You have to figure out all the details of your wedding, especially the reception charges like the catering, entertainment, which are the 2 of the most expensive things in wedding. I have been to several weddings where they had over 400 guests. But make sure you will be able to afford it.

It depends on how much you want to pay. You can have as many as you want there. But keep in mind, the more people, the more food, and the bigger your space needs to be. Also keep in mind that about 20% of the guests you invite wont come. I invited over 300 people and I would say that about 70% came.

Good Luck!

If you can afford to invite everyone you know then go ahead and do it. Bear in mind you will need to feed them all though and find a place that will fit them all.
Draw up a preliminary guest list and see what figure you come up with and then see if they will fit into the kind of places you want e.g a garden, church hall, club, boat! etc

In short - there is no limit.

The linit is based on how much money you have to spend.

You'll need enough food to feed each guest and be able to rent a hall big enough for all of them if you have no other place like a huge lawn or mansion to accomidate them.

You'll also have to rent enough tables and chairs for everyone. You need to figure up the cost, THEN decide how many you can afford to invite.

CONGRATULATIONS and BEST WISHES!!!! You're going to be a bride!!

That's wonderful. Well, I assume you are the bride! Lol!

Enough is where you do not go into debt for spending on a wedding ceremony/reception. Its where you don't need to take out a loan to feed and entertain everyone who is attending.

As many people as you feel are close and important in your life.

Ask yourself these questions when making your guest list:
1. Are you inviting them for you or for your family?
2. Could you imagine getting married without them present?
