For a 16 handicapper use a Top Flight. I just spoke with a golf pro this week that told me that. He says that the Titleist Pro V is best for scratch thru 5 handicappers because they can get so much spin on it, but a 16 should go with a Top Flight because they go just as far and have a more durable cover. Plus they cost less.

try the lower compression balls.. doesnt make any difference which one....whichever...stick with one brand of ball....and get used to how the react with your particular swing.. I am a 9 handicapper...work as a ranger at a golf course so I use whatever is in my bag....(that goes against my directions above). I am an expiermenter....have fun

If you can feel the diffrence what ever makes you most comfortable. I would say try the nxt tour or callaway hx hot a mid range priced ball that plays real nice. Also play a ball that works with your club head speed and how much spin you want. I would say go less spin since your handicap is higher.

The titlest prov1x's are knwon to be the favorite around here, by all of my friends. My da is about a 16 handicapper and that's what he chooses to use. Titlest or Nike brands. Stick to these. They are top ranked and my personal favorite.

The answer to this one is you!..... Nobody can tell you what ball is best for you. Try them all. ultimately you will probably choose a ball that economically fits you and your game. At 16 Hcp....you're going to loose a fair number of balls.....so I'd stay away from the higher priced balls.

It depends on your price range, if you want a soft expensive ball, Titleist ProV 1, if you want somthing cheaper, i would say a Titleist DT So-Lo or NXT. I play off 13 and use a ProV 1 but thats only because once i started to use them, its difficult to go back to a harder ball.

titleist so/lo or the new nike juice ball.
if you go any softer you are going to lose distance with every club.
stick with a soft covered 2 piece ball until you get more confidence with your swing. then go to a 3 piece ball.
