Great car, but dump it after 3 years. Once you're through the warranty period, expect to be paying the dealer $5K to $10K a year for maintenance problems after 60,000 miles. Every minor fix will require 'software' - that's another $100 or so. Many problems can't be fixed by independants and need dealer attention. I love the cars - Had 3 of them, but once they start failing , they become very, very expensive to keep.

I won't buy it. It's not cheap compare to other brands. It doesn't have the best engine, quality, ride, handling, reliability, and resale value. What made you think of buying it? Go test drive other brands like lexus, acura, land rover, then you will know why I said so.

The XC90's reliability is questionable. Consumer publications and websites can give you all the information you need on the XC90 and its problems. There are better, and certainly less expensive, choices.

Iffy reliability, very iffy. Also makes no sense. You want a truck, buy a truck, you want an AWD wagon, buy an AWD wagon....this crossover nonsense gives you a bad truck and a bad car IMO.

i'm thinking about buying one, too! I have a 5 month old and my husband wants me to stick with toyotas, but i don't like the highlander or the sequoia. I'm interested in what you decide.
