All of these lines across my face
Tell you the story of who I am
So many stories of where I've been
And how I got to where I am
But these stories don't mean anything
When you've got no one to tell them to
It's true...I was made for you

I climbed across the mountain tops
Swam all across the ocean blue
I crossed all the lines and I broke all the rules
But baby I broke them all for you
Because even when I was flat broke
You made me feel like a million bucks
Yeah you do and I was made for you

You see the smile that's on my mouth
Is hiding the words that don't come out
And all of my friends who think that I'm blessed
They don't know my head is a mess
No, they don't know who I really am
And they don't know what I've been through but you do
And I was made for you...

I'm no fan of the whole "Emo" revolution or whatever you want to call it.

I feel they're a bunch of kids who think lifes so hard, when they have no idea how easy they have it compared to when they reach the real adult ages.

But...I don't think this pertains to you. I just think you've had a run of bad luck, and while that can be very very dissapointing, and can be very upsetting, eventualy, your luck will turn around.

Life is full of ups and downs, its just a matter of how you look at it.

Are you going to let the downs mean more to you than the ups? Are you going to let the downs define who you are?

Who you are isnt what others think of you, it's about how you think of yourself.

What others think is irrelavent. Most people are cruel. And that is just human nature. But for the few that are genuinely kind, or gentle, it's a lonely world.

But don't let that get you down. If you have aspirations, and you're as young as I think you are, go out and do something about those aspirations. Make your dreams come true.

Cause trust me, when you're able to do so, you'll feel alot better about what you accomplished, and you'll see just how much better life can be if you're willing ot play by YOUR rules, not lifes.

Take life by the horns, and tell it who's boss.

It's the best advice you'll ever get. And you probably won't regret deciding to take charge.

Hope this comment finds you better than you were feeling.

Dearie, if u can write just wonderful lines, believe me u r absolutely ok & clinging on a sense of false lonliness coupled with remorse is just an inner feeling searching for recognition. Go out & enjoy.

Will the feelings of sadness and loneliness ever leave you alone? That has everything to do with you. Who you open yourself up to and let into your world can minimize your loneliness if they, too, will open them-self to you.
If this is a case of rejection, consider broadening your friendships or possibly see a counselor who can guide you toward ways of inviting people into your world.

Sounds like you've found yourself a really special someone. Hold on to them. Show this poem to the person you were made for. I'm sure they'd appreciate it. :)
