I own a Shiba - hes Fantastic - but be forwarned they aren't for everyone -they are more like a cat than a dog - mine thinks he actually is a cat ....

Its a Shiba (E-new) Theyre great dogs. I have 2 and my parents have 3. They breed them. Search Akasta Akitas web site, or Japanese Akitas and Shibas.

Either in-you or ee-noo, it is just personal preference. I always say in-you, but I have heard it pronounced both ways.

It's pronounced "ee-new" - A strong "e" sound and then an "n" followed by a strong "u" sound.
Or you could just call it "shiba ken", which is another name for it.
