if you mean what i think you do, you're asking how to scrunch ur hair when its dry. well its pretty hard but it mostly depends on the texture of your hair. Its best to wet it a tad, either by splashing water from the sink on it or using a spray bottle with water and little bit of conditioner mixed in it ( great for hair thats scrunched, the gel takes out the oils in your hair and can cause it to be dry or break.) then you can use gel or mousse, or any scrunching spray.

so in steps.
1.dampen hair.
2.if gel put a quarter size amount in hand and work through hair, scruching up.
3.if spray or mouse spray onto hair and scruch up.

its hard to scrunch hair when its dry. I would recommend spritsing with a little plain water and then get some Aussie sprunch spray and scrunch it in. Dont scrunh too much or you will end up with frizz. Follow up with a anti-frizz creme. I recommend "Its a 10". The best stuff Ive ever found for frizz. You can get it at a beauty salon.

After taking a shower, towel dry it a little and the coat your hands in gel. Begin scrunching it and add some mousse and hair spray!

you cant really scrunch it when its dry.
what you should do is wash your hair, dry it til its damp and then scrunch it gently with your hands.
then leave it to dry or lightly blow dry it.
hope i helped!
