Just say "hi i am *name* how are you doing today??....then strike up a conversation (about current events in the news, or the weather)...don't rush the date issue on the first conversation unless you two hit it off very well... if you know that she goes to the gym frequently, it may take several times before the date thing can happen. (I am 32yrs and this is how I would like to be approached...in a non-threatening way)

Wel first you should find out if she is married. If not, just strike up a conversation with her like you would a younger woman. She is not different just because she is older. But be prepared, some women might get turned on with a younger man asking them out, but also a lot of women won't date younger men. I only date older men for example. It is her preference but you won't know till you try. Just remember older women are use to polite gentlemen, be nice, not crude, treat her with respect and you should be fine.

I'm 41 and my BF of many years is 34, gotta ask him...OK, I will.....Smile, buy her a water or something at the gym, offer any help DAILY till ya get some sign from her. Don't be a pervert but check her A** out and look away or smile when she catches ya. Don't know how she will react. Sure she is single??

Well just ask her for help with something, then try and find out her name and google it to see if she has been in the news in the past or anything like that coz she could be dangerous. Try and find out if she has kids too coz even if u are attracted to her, she might treat u like her kids no matter how young they are and how old you are.Its like second nature to women who have kids.But dont get ur hopes up seriously , women think very differently to men. She might even hurt u if u get ur hopes up. Just be friendly. =}

The same way one approaches any woman or man, for that matter, be assured & confident & sure of yourself and simply strut forward and say "Hi, I would like to get to know you, how about joining me for dinner, my treat," be sweet firm & charming & above all bold, older or younger makes no difference if there is attraction action ought to follow.
Peace....

does it matter soooo much that she's older? how would you approach someone hot you saw at the gym and guessed was 24?
can you tell what she's reading/watching/listening to at the gym?

First step is to talk to her. Go for broke - what do you have to lose? Tell her you think she is very attractive and then ask her to join you for coffee (or a yogurt smoothie). Good luck.

Usually a wink will tell you if she has an interest in you. Give it a go. Or just ask her to join you at the juice bar...

she is a woman. you should accidentally walk by her going or coming and compliment her about something.
if she is lifting weights wait for her to take a break and say something (intelligent) about the weights. please put your mature side on. you could start making eye contact and smiling first.
