Diffinately religion, where would this world be without a belief system of sorts, music stems from religious beliefs in early time and even today in some instances. Faith builds hope therefore faith is the belief, whereas hope fuels inspiration to write lymrics.

Every soul is unique and every person is unique. What touches you and brings you closer to your higher power, your God, or nature is not necessarily the same as what touches me. I'm a music person. I am not religious, but I am deeply spiritual and I feel closer to everything living through music... it gives me life...makes me feel alive ... lets me dance and love and cry ... all the things that some religions do for some people.

Religion as a whole, or my personal spirituality? Religion as a whole currently has me put off a bit but my spirituality is healthy and intact.
I'm not "me" without either my music or my spirituality. It's kind of a packaged deal.

Is depend. Ordinary music is just for sense pleasure only, it has nothing to do with the soul. It derive a illusory pleasure only. But whatever we enjoy here with our material senses, exist in its pure spiritual form.

Music indeed. It can enhance my mood, provide a beat for lawn mowing or running or give me theme music whle grocery shopping. It can hype me up when driving or calm me down during times of road rage. :)
I personally have lost touch with religion and lost faith in organized religion.
