Your weight fluctuates throughout the day due to water and food. You can lose water weight in one day, but as for actual weight that won't return....no.

"Herbalife" is an extremely easy, convenient, & healthy diet where you are not hungry & feel wonderful! Not too expensive by the serving, either. I have used it before & lost 16 pounds in the first week alone. It is true that the first few lbs are water weight but even over a long period of time Herbalife will take off a half to a whole pound a day if you don't cheat. I found though that I could eat reasonable portions of whatever I wanted for dinner & still lose weight. Also, it can easily be incorporated into maintaining your weight loss. It all can't be excess water! Great diet! I think the Internet site address is: herbalife.com If that's not right, do a search for it & click on the link. God bless!

You could possibly loose a couple of pounds if you take a water pill or a laxative. All you would be loosing is really water weight. Taking a laxative or diuretic actually can cause depletion or drop of essential body minerals. Of course, in the AM we weigh lighter than in the evening. I took a diuretic in order to get into a slightly snug dress/gown I would be wearing the next day and it worked. However, spent most of the night urinating.

I think it is possible but expensive. though it really depends on your target weight. I mean if you're looking for some toning and/or trying to fit in that swimsuit of yours because you've gained a couple of pounds...there are procedures being offered here in manila that can make you lose at least an inch in all those problem areas! and it only takes 6 hours. btw, it's a non-surgical procedure. =) my friend tried it and it worked for her. but of course, even if you had that procedure you still should maintain an active lifestyle or else... ;)
P.S. nothing beats working out! do cardio exercises! =)

weight in terms of fat, impossible...
weight loss on the scale does not equate to a decrease in body fat. fad diets and rapid "weight" loss plans only cause the temporary loss of water, usually from a decreased intake of carbohydrates and calories in general.
the metabolism of world class athletes is not sufficient enough to cause fat loss with only one day of dieting. the metabolism of those with average or higher body fat operates at a level of efficiency that is far, far less than that.

its deff. possible. My mom ran 2-4 miles on the treadmill, and ate healthy for a day (cereal, fruit), and she lost 2 pounds.
