Shoot for a goal, but don't overshoot because that will only create tension that isn't necessary. Do "NOT" cut out carbohydrates as someone said before, cut out "simple" carbohydrates, but not all. Also don't cut down on fats completely, unsaturated fat is good for you, as is a bit of saturated.

Dont eat until you're full
Eat fruits at night if your hungry.
Drinks lots of water and stop all the fast food and chocolate.
