fat mat but my buddy used it and a week later u could still pull the stuff off, ur not suppossed to be able to do that i use dynamat the best and there is no way ur getting that stuff off!!!!!!!

The cheapest thing you will find is FatMat deadener. 100sq. ft. of deadener for less than $100. I actually have 50 sq.ft. of it that I can sell you if you'd like. I have no use for it. Some people also use 'Peel & Seel' which you can get at home depot. It's an asphalt based heat shield used on roofs, but it basically the same thing as Fatmat.

But I would actually recommend RAAMat. It's more expensive, but weights nearly twice as much as Fatmat - weight is what matters. So you won't have to apply as much, and you get a better value for the weight. And it is butyl rubber based rather than asphalt based.
