I have thick hair and when i style it and add hairspray to hold the look it holds it poorly and for only about 2 hours. i need a hairspray that will hold the look and last a long time! What would you people prefer?

There is a show here in Canada called The Shopping Bags where they test various products. Just so happened that the last show I watched had a segment on hairspray. Five or six women had there hair done into crazy designs and then sprayed and then they did a bootcamp type activity for a few hours to see how it would hold up....they also tested each brand at home for a month. The big winner, unanimously, was Bumble and Bumble hairspray... I think it's on the pricey side but everyone loved it. I am gonna give it a go next time....seemed really good!

R u only using hairspray 4 ur style? If so, that's why it isn't holding. Hairspray is a Finishing product. B4 u finish u have 2 style. Which means using a Styling product such as a gel or cream 1st.

I visit at our local beauty salon all the time to be with friends.
I have learned a lot. The best I have seen is BLAST (ICE)
or ION from bauty supply shops. The beauty supply shops
can help you also.
If it is long the weight is pulling it down too.

redkin aerosol #23 it's great. the higher the number in the redkin line, the greater the hold. it also smells really good
