I agree with pbear1. Don't disturb the learning environment. Just don't go. Take a class that allows you to be late (HINT: this would be a class that never meets!).

u should be honest towards your study . if u are asking for being late for class then it means u r not honest towards your study . it is my advise that always u be in time at your school . if some how u were late then have a guts to say truth

while in hostels the best excuse used to be that our breakfast was served late..lol..and professor can never say that "you shud have missed your meal for my class"...this wud also go for after lunch classes..

Don't make up excuses, be honest. If you were lazy, say so and take your seat with whatever your punishment may be.

there is no excuse acceptable for being late for class.. if you cannot make it on time then don't go..
it's all about respect -- either you have it or you don't..
