Interesting that you chose to spell whisky the Scottish way (whiskey American way) which should answer your question - there are no good American whiskies - I am a Scot and I have witnessed extensive research. FYI don't drink the following Scottish whiskies or you will never again try it;

Bowmore
Bells
Scottish Grouse
Glenfiddich (over 90% sold abroad because Scots don't buy it)
