Revelation does speak about the number 666 as being the mark of the beast. So yes I believe.
However, do I believe it is an actual number in which will be "marked" upon people sometime in the future? No, because the text does not imply that.

the mark of the beast will be the equivalent of 666 but it will not be written in those numbers, perhaps that particular portion should not have been translated.
a friend of mine says that the first 6 will be the roman numeral.
the second will be Greek, and the third will be Arabic, or perhaps I got the last two reversed, that was a long time ago.

It is prophecied of in Revelation. So, this is a true book of prophecy and the beast & false prophet and the mark in back of forhand or forhead, the image or number of the beast is calulated of 666.

Revelation tells us That Satan comes to earth at the 6th trump ,the 6th seal, and the 6th vial. Ergo the number 666. Check it out. Ly'all.

In the book of Revelation beasts are used to represent governments. 6 is the number of the day that God created man. Things are repeated 3 times for emphasis such as Holy, Holy, Holy when referring to God. When you put all these things together with the fact that God has set up a Kingdom (government under a king) to rule over us from heaven with Jesus Christ as it's princely ruler, you can understand that we have a choice: We can either give our allegiance and loyalty to God's Kingdom government or we can wrongly choose to put our faith in governments which men set up and Satan himself promotes. If we choose God's will he will bless us with everlasting life and happiness. If we choose men's governments, we may have temporary ease in this system but it will eventually result in our death.

Yes, you will find this number in the Bible. Six is incomplete and the number of man.
If you don't believe the mark of the beast is what the Bible tells us... then what do you believe?

There is something called, self fulfilling prophecy and this is what is happening with the Mark of the Beast Story. There are forces at work trying to bring this prophecy to reality.
