1994 gmc 2500 5.7liter keeps cutting off?

everytime i stop at a light or drive around 45 for a while it starts sputtering and cuts off i turn off ignition and it cranks back up and runs good untill i stop again please help

EGR valve is getting stuck.

are you driving around 45 before you come to a stoplight? sounds like the torque converter might be staying locked up

check your fuel pump and your fuel filter. Check for vacuum leaks. That will cause it to stall.
