I have experienced pain down my legs, kind of like a muscle strain. It reaches my feet. I am assuming it is sciata because it has lasted over a months time and has come and gone many times. I heard that it usually happens only in one leg but I feel it in two. Anyone else?

If you have not seen a doctor about this, you need to.

Regular sciatica (down one leg) is often the result of pressure on a nerve root on that side of the spine as it emerges from between the vertebrae.

Sometimes, pain down both legs can be the result of pressure on the nerves before they pass out from between the vertebrae = in other words, pressure on the spinal cord. This can be a serious situation, and you need to have it checked.

Good luck!

Yours' is a intermittent pain. Sciatica gives pain during the movement or particular posture.
Whatever may it be Acupuncture is the only treatment, but acupuncturist must be a master one.
We have treated failed surgery cases also. Hence pl think visiting us before any big decision.

yep..depends on how the injury to the back was done...
( I have a personal muscle stimulator, Dr prescribed, for when the pain gets bad and it works...as does walking and doing back exercises.)
