You know, I've gotten plenty of hate mail from atheists who don't like the fact that I am vocal about my Christian beliefs here in the forum. I had to shut down my email access because it was getting to the point that I hated to check the Inbox.
But I certainly don't go around accusing all atheists of being rude, immature, and ignorant just because there are a few who are like that. Nor are all Christians that way, either.
Generalizations are seldom, if ever true.

Christians are not the only ones that do this. I have had hate mail from mormons, catholics and others because of my no-nonsense stance when it comes to matters concerning God, salvation, etc. While you may consider these groups Christians, I do not. They are religious, yes. But religion will not save you. So I guess that a lot of people use the e-mail tool for the wrong reasons. I myself only use it if someone e-mails me first.

I didn't really see how this was immature or rude or even threatening.
However, that is the problem of email, it is all in how you read it. This message probably should not have been sent via email. Certain things are better discussed in person do to the sensitivity of the subject.
And if you feel threatened maybe you should reconsider your beliefs. Because if you truly don't believe in an afterlife or in God, then you have nothing to worry about nor nothing to have a feeling of threat.
Christians aren't perfect. Will you forgive us?

This person Wendy_R sent me many threatening emails. She got mad when I said God was insignificant. She actually threatened my pets and me and told me to enjoy life while I can because I am damned to eternal hell. I loved getting her *** kicked off here. Funny but people preaching the word of God should not threaten somebody or did I miss something in my religious education classes.

Here is what I would do:
1.add email address to spam list
2.D E L E T E the trash email
3.read the next email that isnt trash (hopefully)
4.have a better day knowing there is one less junk e-mail to offend me.

That's not rude. It's a statement of their beliefs. If you don't want to hear it from them, just say so...
And why the heck can't they send you an email about Christianity? People use email for everything, from porn to selling things to whatever else they can think of...why shouldn't they be able to send you something about Christianity?

I must say I have never received any threatening e-mails from a Christian or anyone else, for that matter

That's only a threat if you believe in God and you did something wrong that you feel guilty about. Other than that I do not see a threat made by the author of that paste. Whoever he was, or you are.

Lol...
The mail I get are kind of different, but yeah, some people just don't know how to deal with things.
They shouldn't be taken into consideration though.
Peace.
