I feel that me and my best friend are so close - we've been cool for 3 years and i feel like he trusts me ALOT. He's the "shy boy" type when it comes to girls but outgoing with friends. He doesn't like to gossip, talk bad about people and usually keeps his mouth shut. But with me, he'll tell me things that no one's even supposed to know - stuff about him and his guy friends and their little secrets. He'll only talk to me about his family (he doesn't talk much about them usually) and he posted this about me:
"this girl - i can talk to her about anything and EVERYTHING. She understands and gets me - we can talk on the phone for hours and it only seems like 5 minutes..."
It's a good thing, right? Seems like the guy gives me a high amount of respect and admiration, right?

i think its more than admiration...i think this guy likes you...alot...i mean if he can tell u anything he obviously trusts you and feels strongly about ur friendship....i think he does like you but he's not trying to push that further.....since he's shy and all...he'll probably never ask you out which is good because u guys will eventually break up and that friendship will be ruined.....

Yes, he does respect and cares deeply for you. If he didn't he wouldn't confide in you. He thinks you are the type of person that will keep what he's says to yourself. He seems like a really nice guy. Maybe you should consider more than friendship. If you have the same respect for him that is a good start.

well, he just feels really open with you. ussually, that tends to mean that the person likes you atleast somewhat, but not always. im like that with some girls too. usually tho, girls feel more open and stuff with me. like, im the guy who seems gay (but isnt at all!) that girls can just open up and talk and relate to.... but.... from a guys perspective towards a girl, i would say that yes, it is a good thing... i mean, you have a really good friend here, and when they can talk to you about anything, it means that they are really comfortable around you... however...lol, it is quite possible for you to learn many things you dont want to... as you probably already have experienced, lol. but, i think its a good thing. but, if he ever tells you more about his family or something, and you think its wrong or something, you just cant get too emotional... cause... you cant do much about that stuff... but, id say its a good thing, and that you have a very good friend here. :)

Hopefully he is talking about you. Sometimes we think our friends are only telling us their deepest secrets and nobody else knows about them. Well, hopefully that isn't the case in your situation....but always keep an open mind when it comes to these types of things. Friends sometimes make you feel like you are the ONLY one they're telling....but sometimes we find out differently!

I think that the everything part is a good sign. It shows that he knows you won't laugh at him or make him feel bad about his opnion. If you ask me, he really trusts you.

yeah it seems so...... alot of guys can trust gurls easly...... but the shy type have to observe a gurl to see if they can trust them....... then when they see that they can, they'll tell you everything and that is what i see right now....... he feel as if he can share the world with u....... as if he can tell u everything that happens to him in life including the most embarrassing things....... and included in that trust is his respect for you
