Seems like that fewer and fewer.People are to self centered to ask god for help. And if they do they don't want to give him the glory for what he has done.
You hit it right on !! Look at the world and you see what it has gotten us!! Sadly it is only going to get worse.Just look at how many self proclaimed atheist our on here.
But some day they will be so sorry and surprised when they are standing in front of the all mighty for the judgment. All we can do is pray!!

Bekka, where have you been the last 20 years or more?
There are many who still seek God's kingdom, many pray (even those that don't believe in God will pray saying "Why God?"
Get out of your little comfort zone and see that there are many who are seeking God and are accepting Christ Jesus.
In the latter days, many will turn from sound doctrine. Even the elite will be fooled for a period. But, we also know during the Tribulation/Great Tribulation there will be so many... that you can't count them come to the Lord Jesus.

Jesus said: "Be on your guard, that your hearts may not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life and that day (the Day of the Lord) come on you suddenly like a trap; because it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth. But keep on the alert at all times, praying in order that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man."

You are right. the world as we are seeing it has changed alot when it comes to faith in Jesus Christ - God. morals; Values; Family; etc ;etc; are no longer important in many areas of the country, neighborhood or homes. Some are so spiritually minded and no earthly good or they are so earthly minded and no spiritually good. our world is out of balance with God but God knows all; sees all; and He never leaves us but we leave him. Peoples ears are closed to the voice of god in their heart and are busy doing what feels good or making money; or on piety parties. Such as unforgiveness or unfaithfulness. or anger;hate;revenge; etc.------ so we do not give up on faith; family and friends. The spiritual battle is not over for souls . We must continue to fight the battle together with prayer, Christ and those who know the need for the Love and remember how this country was so blessed. What God has given He can take away and He has the finale say and knows the big picture. we are our own worse enemy and we must not be of the world with all of the material possessions ; sexual freedoms;wasteful attitudes;loss of family tradition and being responsibility for our actions; etc.etc. Things; They are temporary but our souls will be enteral. Peace be with you always.

Today my sister, mother and I all spent who knows how much time praying for my brother who is getting married in a few months. I had to pray feverently to stop myself from repeating my parents mistakes and this entire week (spent down south) has been a spiritual upbringing. so, to answer your question, yes, they do.

Yes there are MANY people who don't look to God...and i agree with you. but ask God to open your eyes and maybe you'll see that there are a lot of great christians who look to God.
and maybe God put this on your heart for a reason. Maybe us christians should be telling other people about Him more often.

I look towards God in my every day life. He is the reason we are here, why should we not thank him in everything we do? Throughout my day, I say prayers for others who look as though they need one.
This country, this word, needs a stronger sense of God.

Yes, I do, but not as much as I should. I need to stop what I'm doing and pray more, that's true.

Every single day of my life. I dont go one day without talking to God... whether it be to ask for protection as I drive or to pray over my food before I eat... or to say thank you for another day... I must!

Plenty of people seem to know God so well that they can speak for him.
Your question is interesting. I don't think people look to God or Jesus, because ...
When they are talking, they aren't listening.
