Maybe he thinks you're not available or not interested. Be really clear that you are, maybe ask him out. Either that, or he's lost interest and found someone else....

Well you blew him off first. He asked you out and you said no..(for whatever reason). So he stop flirting with you cause he might have liked you alot and you turned him down, so he had to move on and flirting with you would only give him hope that you might like him back.

He blows you off now cause he thinks you are just playing mind games with him. And he is right for not playing games with you.

It seems there are some mixed signals and when he asked you out it might have been the vibe or the attitude that made him think that you did not like him and was not interested in him when you did not say it. Give it some more time if he does not come around then you know that he is not interested and you just have to move on knowing that you did your best and that there is not much else that you can do. If he wants to be around you then he will have to come to you.

OMFG don't listen to that loser who said you blew your only shot at happiness. First of all, let me say: THERE ARE SO MANY BILLIONS OF MEN IN THIS WORLD!
Now, this guy may be a hunk and your absolute dream-come true, but if it doesn't work out, well, then it doesn't work out. We're not playing God here, we're playing life ..
Anyways, to the point: Men are so so SO childish. The have to act macho and cool and everything. So basically, this guy let down his guard, and asked you out. He let you know that he has --oh no-- feelings. Heaven forbid you find out. And since you turned him down, regardless of the reason, he may feel like he put himself out there for nothing. Now there's plenty of men who get turned down for dates all-the-live-long-day, but how many of those men are asking out their best friends? Not too many. So he's more than likely in hiding because he's embarassed or feels like he was rejected by someone he KNEW would never turn him down. The best thing you could do is maintain his friendship. Let him know that you're still there for him, that you want to hang out with him (and with other friends too), but don't put your whole heart and soul into seducing him because he may have put you out of his head after being rejected. But what I've learned from life experience is that the best way to get close to someone, is to be their friend. Maybe he'll let you back in, only time will tell. GOOD LUCK!!

By flirting you gave him every indication that you were interested then when you didnt go out with him he felt like a fool -- like you were just playing games with him and it smashed all his hopes of being with you

He felt rejected. Blowing you off helps him to maintain self respect. If you really couldn't go, then figure out how to convince him of that fact.

you need to explain to him that youre still intersted and that the one time he asked you out that you already had soemthing to do.
he should be udnerstanding and if he isnt then you should try and move on.
hmm hes probably mad that you couldnt go the first time and thats why he blows you off now so my rec. is to just keep trying

Why didnt you go out with him. You had another boyfriend? You didnt want to? He must have felt crushed when you said no and moved on. It happens. try to replenish the fire. Hope this helps

LOL what a weiner! I had to ask three times to get my GF on an unscheduled time, but it worked out great.

If he was interested, he'd get over it and ask again.
