Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Unchecked authority should always be questioned. If not, there is no one to keep the accountable. As with authority figures, there is nothing wrong with questioning God, and once you do, you will begin to understand why He allows things or does things. You will see that He always wants to the best for you and for others.

Brother, we Christians question God ALL THE TIME! As to His authority, it's unchecked because He's the Lord of All. Anytime humans disagree with Him, we are wrong. Period.

Do you honestly believe God is unchecked? He is probably more questioned, scrutinized, analyzed and criticized than any human being ever was or will be!

Yes, it should be questioned. Jesus said to love God with all your soul, all your heart, and all your MIND. Therefore, it is fine to question God. Christians should be constantly doing this. Since God is perfect, however, there are no conflicts with Him.

For those that think it's insensible, God is perfect in any way you look at Him, and never, ever, should a Christian, question Him, and they wont. Now a nonbeliever is always questioning, and after the question is answered, they still don't believe or understand, now I call that insensible.

Yes, I question God all the time, but in the end it is a matter of faith. I have had too many things happen in my life that allows my faith to thrive no matter how much I question and wonder.

Yes.

Why not? What do you mean? People question God all the time. Even I myself question God. But I always come away with a deeper faith and a deeper understanding of WHO he is.

you can't compare God, who is perfect to a human authority figure. Humans mess up and sin, God doesn't.

I'm not really saying yes or no, but if I can tell you why I don't question God. He isn't human. He's perfect.
