A good source for birthday gift ideas is previous conversations you have had with someone. Try to remember things she has said, like, "I wish I had a ........"
Make a mental note of these things.
Gift cards are a great idea, but something personal from you that shows you were really thinking about her and gave it some thought is important.
How about a bathrobe and slippers in her favorite color? Or get her an engraved bracelet with a special message from you on the back. Both show some thought and are a reminder to her of your love.

Earrings! Can a woman have too many earrings?? Look at the earrings she seems to favor and buy some similar ones...dangles, studs, etc. OR...a nice bracelet with a charm that says "I love you, Mom!" Her heart will melt!! IF she doesn't wear jewlery, look at the magazines she likes to read and get her a subscription! Hand make a B-day card and put the magazine 'insert' (the kind that fall out when you're sneaking a peek at Border's) The personal nature of a handmade card will just thrill mom!!!!

Spend the day with her.. Just the 2 of you. Get her the GC then take her to that store. Go shopping, maybe get lunch and go sit in a nice park to eat. She will enjoy your time together more than any other gift you can give her.

Mothers are very simple people to buy for or we may not even need a gift.do the dishes for a day or take her out to lunch and go for a movie. A mother loves to spend time with there children no matter how old they get. My mom is 66 years old and she still enjoys spending time with her 40 year old daughter and I enjoy spending time still with my 20 year old daughter.

How about just a simple lunch out together, even if it is fast food, or even cook her dinner at home. Tell her how much you love her and how much she means to you .... Quality time is priceless and so are Mother's ... After the moment, lock the memories within the treasure chest of your heart .. and I promise you, they will live on forever. Have a wonderful day with your Mother.
