I love matzah ball soup and I love the way I make mine and my moms but also where could u find one that makes awesome matzah balls and great yiddish/jewish food and name some of their specialties and favorites there too. thanks!

Well, you must try Sammy's Roumanian,but you will have to check Zagats for an address. I'm sure you could also check Zagats for some places on the lower eastside. I know there is a deli on Broadway up where I live, around 83rd Street that has kosher style food. The upper westside is extremely filled with glatt kosher restaurants, but I haven't lived here long enough to know what is really around, so again, turn to Zagats, you can't go wrong. I would think that the Carnegie Deli would have what you are looking for, not kosher, but kosher style. There is a Kosher restaurant called My Favorite Dessert, which is in the theater district, it is not just for desserts, but serves wonderful kosher meals. I would imagine they would have what you are looking for.
Unfortunately, I am not a lover of all the stuff I was brought up eating, it just doesn't live up to what Grandma made.
Good luck, i'm sure Zagats will help. The lower east side has changed and has gotten upscale, but not totally.
