Why do all religions indirectly advocate violence and killing with a pseudo notion that its for peace ?

It's a control and power issue. That's why I don't but into any religion. Plus, I don't have a herd mentality.

The good news is, most religions don't. Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism, Sikhism, Taoism - these are all peaceful religions for the most part.

In all religions, you will have violent members. But fortunately, all these religions have more peaceful members than violent members.

The Wiccan Rede, the central commandment of our faith, states: "If you harm none, do what you will."

If you can find any advocation of violence in there -- indirect or not -- then mister/madame, you're better at seeing subtext than I.

Christianity doesn't kill for peace... if you think so, please give an example of when not one person, like Pres. Bush, but a group of Christians supported killing in the name of Jesus Christ.
